Our Story

MicRise was founded by Micheal Msughter, a young Nigerian entrepreneur based in Jabi, Abuja, who recognised a critical problem: thousands of life-changing opportunities — jobs, scholarships, grants and fellowships — are available to Nigerians every single day, but most people never hear about them until it is too late.

Too many talented Nigerians miss scholarship deadlines they never knew existed. Too many entrepreneurs never apply for grants because they do not know where to look. Too many graduates spend months unemployed because they are not connected to the right opportunities.

MicRise was built to solve this problem. We curate, verify and publish opportunities daily — completely free — so that every Nigerian, regardless of their background or location, has equal access to life-changing opportunities.
