About the Graduate Trainee Programme The Stanbic IBTC Graduate Trainee Programme is an intensive 12-month structured programme designed to develop outstanding young Nigerians into future banking leaders. The programme combines classroom learning, on-the-job experience, mentorship from senior bankers, and exposure to multiple business areas across the bank. Programme Structure The programme is divided into three main phases. The first phase consists of an intensive induction and banking fundamentals training covering Nigerian banking regulations, financial products, customer service excellence, and the Stanbic IBTC business model. The second phase involves rotations across key business units including Personal and Business Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Risk Management, and Operations. The third phase involves a final placement in a business unit aligned with your skills and interests, where you will work on real business projects under the supervision of experienced managers. Business Units and Rotations Trainees will gain exposure to Personal Banking where they will learn about retail banking products, mortgage finance, vehicle and asset finance, and digital banking channels.
